Although scientists don't know the site of the impact, they have found traces of a complex carbon molecule in a set layer of rock in several spots around the world. These molecules, which are a telltale sign of an asteroid strike occur at the same point in the rock layer as evidence of the mass extinction - an layer in the rock devoid of fossils. It's believed the asteroid was between 6 to 12km across, roughly the same size as the spacerock that killed the Dinosaurs 65 million years ago. For only $6,500 a seat, tourists will be flown on a chartered jet to within 200 kilometres of the projected flight path of the station as it reenters. To minimize the risk of the station hitting the plane, they will fly parallel to the ground track of the station, hoping that it doesn't tumble wildly off in their direction.
