Stardust Experiences Minor Thruster Problem
HIGH WINDS DELAY SHUTTLE LANDING
High crosswinds at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida's Cape Canaveral forced NASA to delay the landing of the Space Shuttle Atlantis to Monday afternoon. The earliest landing opportunity is at 1827 GMT (1:27 EST) with another at 2003 GMT (3:03 EST). If the weather is still bad, NASA might have trouble with the alternative landing site at Edwards Air Force Base, California, because the weather there isn't so great either.

STARDUST EXPERIENCES MINOR THRUSTER PROBLEM
On track for its rendezvous with Comet Wild 2, the Stardust spacecraft is experiencing a bit of a problem with its thrusters. spacecraft controllers noticed this week that the spacecraft is unnecessarily reorienting itself, using up valuable fuel that will be necessary later in the mission. Although the problem is minor, NASA/JPL engineers are working to solve it. The spacecraft is expected to reach Comet Wild 2 in 2004.
