DOES "FASTER, BETTER, CHEAPER" WORK?

With the almost certain loss of the Mars Polar Lander, and the

previous loss of the Mars Climate Orbiter, NASA has cause to

reflect on its methods of space exploration. NASA plans to

undertake a complete review of its Mars program, with the

possibility that it will completely change its approach to

space exploration - the days of faster, better, cheaper may be over.

THE FUTURE OF COMMERCIAL SPACE LAUNCHES

Since we've had the technology to put humans into space for over

40 years, many people are wondering why trips to space aren't

available to regular people. A recent survey showed that 42% of

people would be willing to pay $10,000 for a trip to space.

Several companies are working on it.
